The prompt for this project was to take the word "meaning" and create 3-5 pieces.
I chose to focus on the various cultural meanings of these uncommon colors:
Salmon: Sacredness, Flamboyance, and Mourning
Teal: Crisp, Clear, and Open
Magenta: Level Headed, Common Sense, and Balance
Chartreuse: Lessons Learned, Change, and Adventure
Navy: Religion, Fluidity, and Calming
I also revisited a few of the images after the project and added other colors to the environments as well as desaturated certain areas.
I wanted to see how I could push these landscapes even
further in their renderings.
